This is a dainty sterling silver 5-stone ring that is set with 3mm round natural wine color almandine garnet gemstones. This type of garnet has a rich purplish wine color, which looks very similar to high end rhodolite garnet. The vast majority of almandine garnet is red.

Perfect for my needs (a companion ring for one of her solitaires). Stones are big enough to see (not a micro size -yay!) but no so big they interfere with wearing another ring with it. Color is very nice and setting is such that I do not expect to lose a stone. Definitely recommend after a few weeks of wearing.

This is my first 5-stone ring from Shannon's shop, and as usual I am impressed by her work! The purplish-wine color of the garnets are perfectly matched together and you get wonderful flashes of different colors in sunlight - purples, magenta's, even some orangy sparkles at times! Reminds me of a gorgeous sunset when that happens. The silver band is also delicate-looking yet it's the perfect width to hold up with daily wear. Also I had zero issues going to Shannon when I goofed up and forgot exactly how bad my fingers swell up in the summertime and she quickly accommodated my request to switch to a size 7 instead. Fantastic as always, Shannon!
