This stunning sterling silver 3-stone ring features a very, very uncommon pear lab padparadscha sapphire that actually has pink and orange hues. Most lab sapphires today that claim to be padparadscha, really are just orange. This sapphire is mostly salmon pink with peach/orange undertones. The stone is faceted in a mixed brilliant cut which is the preferred cut for high end sapphires and is flanked by two round cubic zirconias. The band measures about 3mm near the side stone and tapering to about 2mm in the back.

Lab-created sapphires are genuine corundum with essentially the same chemical composition, durability, and Mohs hardness of 9 as natural sapphires. Unlike natural sapphires, which form within the earth, lab-created sapphires are grown in controlled laboratory environments.
