This vibrant 6-prong solitaire ring is set with an oval-cut deep green hydrothermal (lab) emerald. Lab emeralds are identical in composition to natural emeralds and are quite pricey.

Stone sizes:
8x6mm: 1.10 carats
9x7mm: 1.65 carats
10x8mm: 2.25

This item is made with nickel‑free de‑ox sterling silver, which is formulated to be more resistant to tarnish. De-ox sterling is a modern .925 sterling alloy that incorporates germanium for improved tarnish resistance. It offers the same beauty and weight of traditional sterling with longer‑lasting shine and easier care. All sterling silver can tarnish naturally over time, and factors like moisture, chemicals, or individual skin chemistry may cause it to occur more quickly.

About Lab-Created Emeralds:

Lab-created emeralds are genuine emeralds belonging to the beryl mineral family, with essentially the same chemical composition and physical properties as natural emeralds, including a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8. The primary difference is their origin — they are grown in a laboratory rather than mined from the earth.

Growth Method: Hydrothermal. This process uses a mineral-rich water solution under controlled heat and pressure to grow genuine emerald crystals, replicating aspects of the natural formation process.

Lab-created emeralds are real emeralds, not simulated gemstones or imitations.

A Note About My Photos: The final listing photo is completely unedited, as required by Etsy.
