This is a sterling silver horizontally set (east/west) with a high quality oval cut lab created blue sapphire. The stone is faceted in a mixed brilliant cut to better simulate a natural sapphire. The setting is six prongs and lower profile.

The ring has a band width of 2mm.

Regarding the sapphires I use: I only use lab created sapphires (corundum made in a lab). I never use simulated sapphires, ie, any material that is not corundum.
