Lab Ruby Oval Solitaire Ring – 8x6mm-14x10mm, Sterling Silver, Double Prong

This is a sterling silver ring set with a deep red oval lab created ruby (resembles the highly valued "pigeon blood" rubies). I have these beautiful stones cut specially for the shop. They are mixed brilliant cut like most natural rubies. The ring has double prongs and is lower profile.
Band width: 4mm near the stone, tapering to 2mm in back

8x6mm: About 1. 5 carats (pics 8-9)
9x7mm: About 2.4 carats
10x8mm: About 3.4 carats (pics 1-7)
11x9mm: About 4.5 carats
12x10mm: About 6 carats
14x10mm: About 8 carats

ABOUT LAB RUBIES:
Lab rubies are identical in every way to natural rubies, except they were not mined from the earth. This stone has a Moh's hardness of 9, just as earth mined rubies.
This setting was made using deox sterling silver, a special sterling that uses alloys which are more tarnish resistant. Please note that more humid climates may cause any sterling to tarnish more quickly.
