These beautiful stud earrings are set with pricey lab created alexandrite stones. The stones are a blend of purple and green, color shifting in different light. The stones are faceted in a mixed brilliant cut like many high end natural alexandrites. The sterling silver basket settings have four prongs, a center post and butterfly friction clasps.

Lab alexandrites are just like natural alexandrites (chrysoberyl) but were made in a lab.
